We’re collecting gift items to create Mother’s Day Pamper Hampers for moms supported by RISE Support Centre, many of whom face difficult situations. Help us show Christ’s love by encouraging them and reminding them they are valued. Drop off new, unused items in the lobby by April 26th. Our Spring Special Offering this year will support 4 ministries: Sponsoring kids to attend Camp Widjiitiwin, TeachBeyond, Teen Challenge, and Grace Bible Fellowship in Alberta. You can give online (through the Church Center app or other online giving methods) or in person (use an envelope for cash or cheque and place it in the offering plates or the white boxes at the back of the Worship Centre.) Please clearly mark your contribution "Spring Offering" and include your full contact information (name, address, and email) for tax receipting. We are grateful for your generosity and excited to see how God will use these gifts to make an impact in His kingdom.

This summer, we're heading to Moldova on a mission trip in partnership with TeachBeyond, and we’re inviting you to prayerfully consider being part of it. Stop by the Missions Table in the lobby on Sunday, April 19th and 26th to learn more, ask questions, and explore whether this could be a step God is leading you to take.

We're looking for a passionate and devoted follower of Jesus Christ to join our team as the Director of Biblical Soul Care & Small Group Ministry. This key leadership position is responsible for building a culture of discipleship by leading biblical counseling, overseeing our Small Groups Ministry, and providing pastoral care to our church community. We warmly invite you to the Hope Women’s Spring Event on Saturday, May 23 at 10am, a morning centred on the beauty of God’s love. The heart of our time together will be an encouraging message from 1 John, focusing on what it means to actively live out God’s love in our daily lives, along with opportunities for fellowship, light refreshments, and a fun activity. We’ll also hear from RISE Support Centre and explore how we can come alongside their ministry in meaningful, practical ways, and there will be an optional baby item drive for those who feel led to contribute. Here at Hope Markham, we believe firmly in the power of prayer. We invite you to join us in an ongoing effort to depend on God through unceasing prayer. Our prayer team meets to pray during the 9am and 11am service on Sundays. We are always looking for more people to join! If you feel called to serve in this way, please email prayer@hopemarkham.ca. We believe that our prayers make an impact in our church and beyond, and we look forward to praying together on Sunday mornings!

Our resource centre, located upstairs, has a growing and diverse range of titles, from picture books to adult guides, catering to both children and adults. It is open on Sundays. For the children's safety, during service hours, the doors leading upstairs remain locked. However, after the service, adults and children are encouraged to browse the collection. We've also made it more convenient for you by putting our catalogue on the Church Center app, allowing you to explore books from the comfort of your home and borrow them when you come on Sunday. When you're ready to borrow or return, simply head over to the Hope Kids registration desk, where our friendly team will be ready to assist you in borrowing or returning books.
