Thank you for your continued support of Hope Markham. We realize many have increased financial pressure and stress, and we want you to know that we are praying for those who are laid off, have reduced income or no income, or are wondering if they will have a job to go back to. We continue to pray for God’s provision and His peace in your life and family in this time of turmoil and uncertainty. We’re being careful to spend only where prudent and necessary. At the same time, due to the Covid crisis, there are people who are in need and we want to be able to help them. So please prayerfully consider how you can help financially. You can go to the GIVE page on our church website. You can also mail your offering to the church. Our address is 8176 McCowan Rd, Markham ON L3P 3J3. There’s also a mailbox right outside the main entrance doors of the church (please don’t leave cash in the mailbox)

Please be on the lookout for needs that may arise because of this pandemic and seek to meet those needs as a means of showing love and care. We can do this individually or with our small group. If you or your small group are unable to fulfil the need please let us know as the church will want to help in any way possible (email  We want to do our best to care for needs and show Christ’s love at a time like this.

Here are a few things to look for:

  • Those who need help to pay for groceries or other needs due to loss of work.
  • Those who are more elderly and unable to get groceries or essentials for their home.
  • Those who need childcare due to the closing of schools and daycares.
  • Those who may be alone and need a phone call and prayer.
