With the province of Ontario entering Step One of its Roadmap to Reopen on June 11th, we're excited to resume in-person Worship Services and Hope Kids at 15% capacity. Please prioritize your time for worship and join us Sunday!
Registration is required to attend service.
A mandatory self assessment questionnaire will also be needed and we strongly encourage those that are 65+ and/or those with serious underlying health conditions to continue participating online.
To keep with lower numbers and physical distance regulations we know it may still be some time until we see everyone in-person at church. Please be patient and prayerful, eager to maintain the unity of the Spirit in the bond of peace.
Here are the safety measures we are implementing to protect all of those who will be worshipping with us in person:
Our service begins with worship, led by a band. Most people stand during this time, however there is complete freedom to be seated if you prefer. The words of all of the songs are projected on screen. We hope that you’ll hear songs you know or can relate to, even if you haven’t been to church before.
As our guest, you won’t be asked to stand or raise your hand (or anything embarrassing) just because you’re new. We won't ask you to recite anything or kneel at certain times during the service.
Hope Markham provides practical Bible messages that help you deal with real life issues. Our pastors preach from the English Standard Version, but please feel free to use whatever version of the Bible you're most comfortable with. Most weeks, you'll be given a handy outline with the main points and Bible verses to help you follow along. What you learn on the weekend, you’ll be able to use during the week.
In-Person Kids ministry is available during both worship services, for kids 2 years old to grade 5.
We have a capacity of 20 kids per service. Once that capacity is reached, families are invited to use the Family Zone for in person services, or continue to attend online.
Kids will be split up into 2 groups; keeping sibling/family groups together.
Families will be asked to only have one adult enter the Kids area for drop off and pick up. The same parent will drop off and pick up from the classrooms.
We've prepared a designated Family Zone at the back of the Worship Center for families with children who wish to sit together. Each family will have access to their own table with markers, books and colouring sheets provided for your children to enjoy during service.
Located upstairs, we have a quiet room dedicated for infants and their parents who need a quiet moment to settle. The room is equipped with a change table, comfortable chairs and livestream to the main service.
Our worship service livestream begins every Sunday at 8:55AM. We encourage you to fellowship with others watching on our live chat. One or more of our staff will be in the chat to provide additional context during the service, and to answer any questions you may have.
The full service will be available on-demand at 11am.
Engaging, age-appropriate worship resources are available every week to help parents lead their children in worship at home.
Each week begins with a video that includes worship songs, a bible story and a mission moment. We encourage parents to take advantage of the downloadable activity sheets and monthly challenge that are designed to reinforce what your children are learning.
You can submit prayer requests anytime using our Prayer Request form.
