Worship in-person

What to expect?

Our service begins with worship, led by a band. Most people stand during this time, however there is complete freedom to be seated if you prefer. The words of all of the songs are projected on screen. We hope that you’ll hear songs you know or can relate to, even if you haven’t been to church before.

As our guest, you won’t be asked to stand or raise your hand (or anything embarrassing) just because you’re new. We won't ask you to recite anything or kneel at certain times during the service.

Hope Markham provides practical Bible messages that help you deal with real life issues. Our pastors preach from the English Standard Version, but please feel free to use whatever version of the Bible you're most comfortable with. Most weeks, you'll be given a handy outline with the main points and Bible verses to help you follow along. What you learn on the weekend, you’ll be able to use during the week.

Hope Kids (Infants to grade 5)

In person kids ministry is available every weekend at the 9am and 11am service for infants up to Grade 5. We also have a fully stocked nursing room with access to the live stream for parents of young and/or nursing babies that is available throughout the service.

Nursing Room (for parents with nursing infants)

Located upstairs, we have a quiet room dedicated for infants and their parents who need a quiet moment to settle. The room is equipped with a change table, comfortable chairs and livestream to the main service.

Worship at home

What to expect?

Our online worship experience begins with heartfelt moments led by a worship team. Whether you choose to stand or sit in the comfort of your home is entirely up to you. Lyrics for all the songs will be displayed on your screen, providing an opportunity for you to engage with familiar songs or discover new ones.

The messages shared by Hope Markham are designed to provide practical insights into navigating real-life challenges. Our pastors reference the English Standard Version, but feel free to use any Bible version you're comfortable with at home. Each week, you'll receive a helpful outline featuring the main points and Bible verses to guide you through the service. The knowledge you gain during the livestream can be applied to your week ahead. Join us from the comfort of your home for an enriching and accessible online church experience.

Hope Kids at Home

Engaging, age-appropriate worship resources are available every week to help parents lead their children in worship at home.

Each week begins with a video that includes worship songs, a bible story and a mission moment. We encourage parents to take advantage of the downloadable activity sheets and monthly challenge that are designed to reinforce what your children are learning.
